The Most Challenging Week....

5-6
Hey momma!!! thank you once again for all that you do for me. All is well here just like always, i had a member of my district go into heart surgery this week but it was successful and he is doing great, we got a new visa waiter to take his place temporarily and that has been a challenge in and of itself, nothing that i cannot handle though :) The crap seemed to all hit the fan this week and to top it all of we lost our phone (well it was stolen) so we lost every contact that we had in the stake so we are having a hard time getting back onto our feet after that. I can honestly say that this last week has been the most challenging week on my entire mission. haha but it has some good memories behind that. :) We ate dinner with a family and their 3 year old daughter asked to say the pray by herself, so she closed her eyes and started to say the pledge of allegiance :) haha it was the funniest thing ever! She was super cute, i printed out a picture of her and she is going into my journal. haha  Anyways momma happy mothers day! o ya also go and visit www.utahslcsouthmission.com there will be a mothers day picture on there for you sometime at the end of this week. Anyways momma!! i love you! thanks for all that you do! your the best momma in the world! Love your Son

Hey dad!
I miss the snow, it is like 70 degress here today and i feel like its gonna be a hot summer again. just one more summer and then i can get back into the celestial state :) man what is going on with the salmon? maybe they are just waiting for me to catch them? Man it is so great to hear that missionary work there is hopping. if the wards here were doing that i wouldnt have time to do anything but teach. that is how it should be anyways. We took an investigator to church who was planning on getting baptized this next weekend. but somebody who is a member of the ward council decided that it was her place to go out of her way to tell our investigator that she was not dressed right to be a part of the congregation. She might not get baptized because of how much pride and the lack of charity that exists in the church. it was shocking to me. to say the least we will not be the stakes best friends this week. they get to see a whole other side of elder summers and elder brown that they have not yet tapped into. We will see how it goes. I got to remember that the lord loves all of us the same. haha maybe that will help me to help the members of this stake.  Have a great week!
Love your son
